I was sitting on the window seat looking longingly out at Central Park..meowing up a storm...and finally, Mabel got the message.
"Jenny," she called out, "I think Tallulah wants to go to the park. I have an appointment downtown, can you take her?"
"I'd be happy to take Miz T to the park," Jenny said. "And I think I'll put on her new hat with the flower on it.
Everybody was taking my picture with their cameras and cell phones and I just posed in front of the flowers. And then I noticed the most beautiful tulips in a dusty pink color. I hope someday Nigel makes me a cape in that color...and maybe a hat to go with it.

Congratulations! this is soooo adorable. The drawings are magic. Almost as good as Bemelman's - I mean that is a compliment - the almost part - even to compare it to his is a compliment. Where can I get the book? Does Tallulah like cookies? Could we exchange a book for some cookies - cat cookies of course with seaweed? or is Tallulah vegan?
