Passover and Easter
I was so busy last week I was totally exhausted. Mrs. G invited Alice and Monty and me to play with Rupert while she supervised the cooking and table setting for the huge Passover seder she has every year. Mabel told Jenny that Mrs. G is totally famous for her matzoh ball soup -- everybody says the matzoh balls are light as air.
We got to taste everything and Rupert slurped it all up as usual. The biggest hit was the gefilte fish with carrots and lettuce on the side. But I must say the brisket was a very close second -- I hope Jenny gets the recipe for us. The matzoh balls didn't look so light to me; they were as big as my head and I wasn't crazy about them, but Monty smacked his lips over them.
Then it was Easter and Jenny decorated eggs and made the cutest Easter baskets for us. They had long colored ribbons on the handles with toys to bat around, and they were filled with catnip mice and brightly colored fish.
Nigel made me a special hat and took me to the Easter Parade on Fifth Avenue and they interviewed us on television. I just love being famous!
