Central Park In The Afternoon
I was sitting on the window seat looking longingly out at Central Park..meowing up a storm...and finally, Mabel got the message.
"Jenny," she called out, "I think Tallulah wants to go to the park. I have an appointment downtown, can you take her?"
"I'd be happy to take Miz T to the park," Jenny said. "And I think I'll put on her new hat with the flower on it.
Everybody was taking my picture with their cameras and cell phones and I just posed in front of the flowers. And then I noticed the most beautiful tulips in a dusty pink color. I hope someday Nigel makes me a cape in that color...and maybe a hat to go with it.

The Morning Wake Up Show
OMG The Morning Wake Up Show got so much mail about me at the Easter Parade, they invited me to be on the show...with Nigel, of course (there always has to be that human element to tell people what they think I'm thinking).
I thought it was a little early in the morning for a tiara, but those early people have a right to see me at my best...and for all they know, I could have been out all night with Nigel at a disco.
Nigel told them about my fabulous wardrobe...and the room he designed for me...and Mabel's Table Gourmet Food for Cats and Kittens, because I'm their CEO, of course.
I wonder if they'll ask us back. Maybe we could become a regular feature. I always wanted to a Celebrity Cat. Tune in later...I'll keep you posted.

Teasers and Balls
Pets! Pets! Pets! sent over some new toy prototypes for me to play with. The balls are really cute -- each one makes a different noise when it rolls around. I think I like the green one best -- it clicks like ka-ching ka-chng on the cash register. Since Mabel says we get royalties, I hope people buy a lot of them.
The teasers are fun too. You can wave them around, or tickle your friends and humans. And when you get mad at someone or some cat, you can pretend you're beating them up.
Here's a picture of me and Monty trying them out. What do you think?

Passover and Easter
I was so busy last week I was totally exhausted. Mrs. G invited Alice and Monty and me to play with Rupert while she supervised the cooking and table setting for the huge Passover seder she has every year. Mabel told Jenny that Mrs. G is totally famous for her matzoh ball soup -- everybody says the matzoh balls are light as air.
We got to taste everything and Rupert slurped it all up as usual. The biggest hit was the gefilte fish with carrots and lettuce on the side. But I must say the brisket was a very close second -- I hope Jenny gets the recipe for us. The matzoh balls didn't look so light to me; they were as big as my head and I wasn't crazy about them, but Monty smacked his lips over them.
Then it was Easter and Jenny decorated eggs and made the cutest Easter baskets for us. They had long colored ribbons on the handles with toys to bat around, and they were filled with catnip mice and brightly colored fish.
Nigel made me a special hat and took me to the Easter Parade on Fifth Avenue and they interviewed us on television. I just love being famous!

Everything For Cats
We went to the Cat Show this week. It's called EVERYTHING FOR CATS and we were scheduled to appear at the Pets! Pets! Pets! booth to introduce my new product: Mabel's Table Gourmet Food for Cats & Kittens.
I found it absolutely fascinating! All these booths with stuff for moi -- except I have to admit that some of it was pretty dreadful.
Mabel pushed me around in a Kitty Car that they supplied at the entrance. It wasn't really my style, but it was better than walking and looking at all those feet. And Mabel kept the top unzipped because she knew I was not about to jump out. I pretended it was my convertible that I have in my room at home.
I meowed kind of plaintively when Mabel put me in the car, and she got the message because when we got to the Pets! Pets! Pets! booth, Mabel told them they should make a Tallulah Car and Diana's eyes lit up and she said she'd have her team get right on it.

My Birthday Party
My birthday was absolutely purrrrfect!
Jenny's cake was dee-lish...there wasn't even the tiniest leftover. The humans sang Happy Birthday and my friends meowed....Then I opened the presents (with help from Mabel, of course).
Alice gave me a bell that has the tiniest little tinkly sound.
Rupert gave me two bangle bracelets that Mrs. G gave him for me.
And Monty gave me a feather teaser toy from the cat boutique on Lexington. It wasn't very original...even though Larry Lewis is very sweet, he isn't very original and he picked it out. But Monty gave me lots of kisses and that more than made up for it.
I can hardly wait for my birthday next year...it's going to be a long 365 days.
