Christmas in the Country

Happy Holiday everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas...Chanukah...Kwanza...whatever you celebrate.

Mrs. G, who lives in the penthouse of our building with my friend Rupert, invited Mabel and me to her country house in New England. She calls it a cottage but it was the biggest cottage I've ever seen -- with front stairs and side stairs and back stairs and a giant cellar and two separate attics and the biggest kitchen in the whole world. Our cook, Jenny, would have loved that kitchen, but she spends Christmas with her family.

The best thing at Mrs. G's cottage was the mice! They had mouse traps, of course, but Mrs. G's mice were much too smart to get caught in the trap -- so it was up to me and Rupert...Dee-lish! We had mice for breakfast, mice for lunch, mice for tea and mice for dinner. It did get a little boring after the third day, so we ate Jenny's frozen dinners in between.

My Book

I know, it's been ages since I've updated my blog, but the reason is I've been writing my memoirs. Yes, I know it sounds like a lot of work -- and believe me, it's a lot of work.  But everybody's been asking about my story, so I decided to tell it all.

The book won't be ready for you until the end of January, but while you wait, I promise to keep you up to date with everything that's happening in my life.
